Veterinarian

The dream began many years before I could even spell “veterinarian”. As a child I always held a deep fascination and appreciation for all things fuzzy. One summer day, after playing outside, my sister matter-of-factly pointed out that I should be a “vet” when I grew up. It just made sense, we agreed.

Throughout my schooling, my path never strayed from the course of veterinary medicine. I left my childhood home in West Seneca to study Biology at Alfred University. Four years later, I entered Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine. While still at school, I interviewed and accepted my position at Wright’s Corners Animal Care Center. Since 2000, my experiences at Wright’s Corners have contributed to an amazing journey.

I am constantly motivated by witnessing the tremendous strength of the bonds between pets and their people. I often find myself thinking-so this is what “being a vet” is all about!
