Aftercare

Cremation is available.

After the euthanasia process has been completed you have the option to take your pet’s body home with you or have the remains cremated. If you choose to have your pet cremated, they will be transported to Dignified Group Services of WNY which is a family owned crematory that provides compassionate and professional pet cremation services. 

We offer two types of cremation – individual or communal. With communal cremation your pet will be cremated with other pets and you will not receive any ashes after the process has been completed.  Individual cremation means your pet will be cremated by him or herself and the ashes returned to you in an urn. There may be other remains in the cremation chamber at the same time but they are physically separated so that no commingling of remains occurs. We have a selection of unique urns for you to choose from, each with custom engraving of your pets name, included at no additional charge.  

If you wish to take your pet’s remains home we can provide a biodegradable euthabag for transport and burial for a small additional fee. In the case of a large dog, it would be best for you to bring a sheet or blanket to wrap your pet in for transport. We can assist you in placing your pet into your vehicle.
