Position Details
- Role: Customer Service Representative
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $16.50 per hour
- Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm Occasional Saturdays
Are you an experienced Customer Service Representative who happens to LOVE animals? If your job search is motivated by the desire to make a meaningful difference with your career, come use your top-notch skills as a Client Care Specialist at Wright’s Corners Animal Care Center. This is a full-time opportunity on the Front Desk team.
What you’ll do:
Front Desk team members use their carefully developed receptionist skills to create a client experience for pet parents that leaves them feeling confident in the care their furry family members are receiving! Your most common activities will be:
- Assisting clients in person, over the phone, and via email by scheduling appointments and answering questions.
- Contributing to a great visit checking clients in when they arrive following internal processes each time.
- Checking clients out when their appointment is over, making sure they have follow-up care scheduled when needed and collecting payment for their pet’s visit.
- Making sure to carefully follow practice policies and procedures designed to WOW pet parent’s with our high quality and compassionate care.
- Assisting your team members with a variety of general duties such as helping to keep the reception area neat and tidy, drafting memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Sharing your unique gifts and talents with the team by suggesting new ideas or ways we can show how passionate we are about helping pets live long, healthy, lives!
What you should bring to the team:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a client facing role providing , professional customer service in person and over the phone. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!
- Superior relationship building skills. Are you great at remembering the small things clients share and then enjoy asking them about it the next time they come in?
- Must be tech savvy with the ability to learn new software and enter data with accuracy and consistency.
- Dependability. Clients count on us to be there for their furry (and not so furry) family members.
- Prior veterinary experience is not required but a love for animals and a sincere interest in the animal care field are essential!
